So on Friday, I was in Art and I was trying to draw people kissing because I fail miserably in the department. So I did this pic of Remus and Sirius and it was relatively good except I wasn't happy with their mouths. If I did it one way it looked like Remus's upper lip was black (teehee), but the other way, while fixing problem one, made Sirius look like HIS upper lip was triangular! So it was like this:

Me: "Hey, Kaeli, how should I fix this lip problem that's going on right here?"
Kaeli: *looks, ponders* "It's two guys?"
Me: *eyebrow raise* "Yes, but what of the lip?"
Kaeli: "Oh, cool. Um, I don't know how to fix it." *hands back*
Me: *sarcastic* "Gee, thanks." *goes back to work*
Pause
Kaeli: "So wait, who are they?"
Me: *puzzled* "They? Oh, in the picture? Remus and Sirius" *points to respective Marauders in turn*
Kaeli: "Oh! Neat."
Pause
Kaeli: *so loudly the whole room looks up at us* "WAIT! SIRIUS IS GAY???"
Me: *explodes into raucous laughter* "Haha! Well, not in the books." *gigglesnort* "Or, so we think, at least! MERLIN! That was great, Kay."
Longer pause, after I've (finally) calmed down
Me: *smirk* "So, Kaeli, I was wondering... why just Sirius?"
Kaeli: *intelligently* "Huh?"
Me: "I mean, when you--" *giggle* "asked me if Sirius was gay you just said 'Sirius'. Is the other just a given, then?"
Kaeli: "A...given?"
Me: *still, surprisingly, in a good mood* "Yes, a given. As in 'Do you think Remus is gay in cano--in the books?"
Kaeli: "Well, I --" *big eyes* "REMUS IS GAY???"
Whole room: *heads snap up again, confused*
Me: *dies of laughter* "Just -- HAHAHH! Just! Oh God, just never mind! Never mind! Oh my God!" *SNORT*

I had a good Friday.

ALSO! I've just discovered something! Did you know that Smarties came in little BAGS?? Like, my sister was like: "Hannah, do you want some Smarties?" I told her I would like some Smarties and she gave me a normal packet of them. Then she also handed me this little green bag with Smarties emblazoned on it. I stared at it and, shocked, asked her how long Smarties have come in bags. She looked at me like I was Goyle and gentle told me that they'd come in bags for a long, long while. I jumped up from my chair and ran into the kitchen where I proceeded to ask my dad if he'd ever seen bagged smarties before, all the while waving the Smarties in question in his face. He lowered my hand away from his face and slowly told me that he had not seen bagged Smarties before. I 'Wow-ed' and 'Oooh-ed' for a while then disappeared into my room again whispering "I'm saving this."

Before I shut my door I heard my sister say 'Poor Hannah.' Dad then had the gall to chuckle. not that I really cared because I have my bagged Smarties.

Now, have you guys never seen bagged Smarties before, or am I the only one who's missed this critical development??
