Almost better than the build up is coming back down. After sweaty boy bodies and hyperactive giggles have come to rest, when all the heat is receding back into the passion it came from, there is a lull in the world, a brief (very brief) moment where there are no words (a near miracle, for Barty) and there's just the air and their smiles and them.

Just them.

It eventually picks back up, Barty gets restless and handsy and he kicks Regulus in the head. There are whines and groans just like any other normal day. But it's worth it.
