Art post
- First we have Dean and Sam Winchester of Supernatural, drawn for
emo_wicca all the way back from ages ago in late summer. I am the worst at getting things done in a timely fashion so it did not reach her until, like, mid September. </3 But she is amazing and did not mind so hee. Drawing people who actually exist is always harder for me than drawing from my imagination so although it's just a portrait, it provided a challenge. Halfway through my friends were like "YOU IDIOT, WATCH THE SHOW WHILE YOU DRAW" and I was like "...You guys have stealth". It was a good plan, it was a lot easier when I could SEE them.
- This one is a prototype for a possible something-design for the Portland chapter of the HP Alliance, of which I am a proud and happy member. I'm thinking it'd be a little complex for a shirt design but hopefully we can use it for something, it'd been eons since I drew Harry, so that was a fun adventure. Comments? Suggestions? It's a work in lazy progress.
- Done more recently for
cutthroatpixie's birthday. I tried my best at fabric, it was a painful experience because I am only capable of skin, I swear. But at least I tried. Although that one stupid fold of the blankets always looks like some horribly long skinny penis when I send it via msn and there's that little preview picture. XD Do not want. I promise you, it's just a fold. It's tasteful nudity, as I so adamently insisted at Kenzie's party.
- This one was drawn for
bloodredsummer for her 18th birthday which was yesterdayyy. It's Remus and Regulus and, although she does not agree, Regulus's head is wonky and was a bitch to draw, lol - it's that one angle I just cannot do! But I'm happy with it because I kept it simple line-wise, and managed to make Regulus' head not totally awful. Also, most importantly, most of the detail is in the faces so the attention is automatically drawn there. That's what I wanted because it's supposed to be tender, not just about bodies. Remus is based loosely on Mathias Lauridsen, and Regulus' eyebrow is reminisicent of Shaun Haugh.
